Growing Outcomes in Watersheds (GROW)

GROW provides cost-shared support for project establishment and/or annual incentive payments for land enrolled in GROW Activities, which deliver ecological goods and services by helping farmers develop projects that maintain or improve local watershed health and work for their operations. Prairie Watersheds Climate Program (PWCP)

The PWCP provides up to $40 million in financial support, through On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF), to producers in Manitoba and Saskatchewan to accelerate their adoption and implementation of on-farm beneficial management practices (BMPs) to reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, support production efficiency, sustainability and resiliency on their farm operations. Living Lab: Eastern Prairies (LLEP)

The Living Laboratories Initiative aims to advance collaborative agricultural science and help address some of Canada’s most pressing environmental issues. The Initiative is a network of Living Labs across the country where farmers, researchers and various partners work hand in hand on farms developing novel tools and techniques that are tailored to local environments and needs. Lake Winnipeg Basin Program (LWBP)

The goal of the LWBP is to tackle the most pressing challenges affecting the health of Lake Winnipeg by taking action to reduce phosphorus and nitrogen loading to Lake Winnipeg, strengthening collaboration throughout the basin, and engaging with Indigenous Peoples on freshwater issues. Learn more
