The mission of the Envirothon is to develop knowledgeable, skilled and dedicated citizens who are willing and prepared to work towards achieving and maintaining a natural balance between the quality of life and the quality of the environment in their community and elsewhere. The success of the Manitoba Envirothon has largely been due to the commitment, passion, and endless energy of our numerous volunteers, partner organizations, and funders.
There are numerous ways that you can help contribute to the Manitoba Envirothon! Whether through volunteering, spreading awareness, or donating, your support makes a meaningful impact. By supporting the Manitoba Envirothon, you are helping provide a unique learning opportunity for students that connects them with nature, broadens their career horizons, and can help bolster their confidence in a team setting.
Donate
You can donate directly to the Manitoba Envirothon through Canada Helps! Your donation goes towards funding the regional and provincial events, whether it's facility rental & accommodation, field test materials & resources, a travel subsidy for teams, or t-shirts for participants. Your donation can help propel the growth of the Manitoba Envirothon and create new opportunities for students to participate. All donations over $20 will receive a charitable tax receipt from Canada Helps.

The Manitoba Envirothon welcomes participants from all regions of the province, taking back a message of the importance of environmental stewardship and understanding to their communities. Volunteer
The Manitoba Envirothon has been built by the passion and commitment of a dedicated volunteer base since its inception almost 30 years ago. Each year approximately 125+ volunteers plan and deliver the Manitoba Envirothon. Without our volunteers Manitoba Envirothon would not be possible. Volunteering at Manitoba Envirothon is an opportunity to meet many great people, while helping youth connect with the natural environment. It is a rewarding and fulfilling event to participate in, creating meaningful memories and connections.
There is a wide range of volunteer opportunities at both Regional and the Provincial events; including field test station attendants, judges, facilitators, room monitors, and many other positions.
