  • This presentation will describe pilot restoration trials in North America's largest freshwater coastal wetland, using biodegradable baffles, targeted plantings, and Indigenous-led wild rice reintroduction. The presentation will highlight the collaborative partnerships behind the work, the ecological benefits for birds, fish, and mammals, as well as research that will guide larger-scale restoration in the future.
